Exploring the Intersection of Food Distribution and Urban Life

2024
Recipient of the CMES Ganzfried Family Travel Fellowship

This project extends comparative research in Rome, Tel Aviv, and Los Angeles, focusing on how mobile food logistics reshape urban space. Using low-cost, small-scale interventions, it reimagines carts, bikes, and mobile units as tools for local autonomy and public engagement.

From hybrid markets in Roman piazzas to spatial activations in Tel Aviv and flexible food zones in Los Angeles parking lots, the project proposes alternative models of distribution that challenge corporate delivery systems and reconnect food with public life.
